Rescue Diver

This course is designed to teach you to be a safe diver and to look out
for the welfare of other divers, enabling you to recognise and prevent an
accident as well as how to respond if one happens. Unless you have
completed a primary care and basic first aid course within the last two
years, you must complete the Emergency First Response course.
This course consists of:
• Self-rescue and diver stress
• AED and emergency oxygen delivery systems
• dive first aid
• swimming and non-swimming rescue techniques
• emergency management and equipment
• panicked diver response
• underwater problems
• missing diver procedures
• surfacing the unconscious diver
• in-water rescue breathing protocols
• egress (exits)
• first aid procedures for pressure related accidents
• dive accident scenarios
Course Duration: 2-4 days
Minimum Age: 15 years old (12 for PADI Junior Rescue Diver)
